For over 25 years, Dave has had a deep interest in construction and architecture. He began in
construction, working as a laborer, hod carrier, plumber’s assistant and finally as a carpenter. After
earning his architectural degree and then his architectural license in 1989, Dave started Lindquist Architects with a commitment to creative and constructable design solutions. He has a deep appreciation and understanding of the relationship between architecture and construction. Dave strives to bring out the best in all team members and works aggressively with government agencies in reaching well thought-out solutions.
Larry K. Herres, AIA, NCARB
Project Architect
Licensed in CA, ID, WA
Larry began his architectural career in 1971. Licensed in 1982, he opened his own firm in 1985, practicing in California, Idaho and Washington for 12 years before joining Lindquist Architects as Project Architect in 1997. With a career span of 36 years, Larry has provided seasoned experience in the areas of commercial, industrial, retail, restaurant, professional office, single & multi-family housing and hospitality design. Our clients value his attention to detail, design skills and follow through. Larry has won numerous awards for single-family home design including “Best Architectural Design”, “Best Interior Design” and the “Peoples’ Choice Award” for the 1999 Parade of Homes in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
George P. Watson
Project Manager
George has 25 years of construction and architectural experience in commercial and industrial projects. His construction experience enables him to solve problems in the design stage, minimizing questions during the construction phase. His architectural experience includes project management of commercial, industrial, hospitality, assisted care and church projects located in multiple states. He also has extensive experience designing projects using concrete, steel and wood construction.
Otmar P. Trattler
Project Manager
Otmar hails from Austria and brings a European flair to his design work. He has over 15 years of architectural experience in designing professional office, commercial facilities including multi-family residential buildings. His expertise lies in translating client’s dreams into aesthetic buildings, combining details, beauty and longevity that reflects architectural homogeneity. Mr. Trattlers’ responsibilities include field surveying, program development, design, construction documents, preparation, client/consultant coordination, quality control & construction administration.
Matt Maguire
Project Manager
Matt has been in the construction and design field for over 30 years, including 17 years as a concrete finisher. He earned an
A.A.S. degree in Architectural Technologies and has experience as a structural designer as well as detailing steel open web trusses. His experience in the field gives him valuable insight into building structures, quality control and coordination in the field.
Rob Stock
Project Manager
Rob brings 28 years of
construction and architectural experience in both
residential and commercial product types to
Lindquist Architects. He gained his appreciation
for beautiful buildings while living in Toronto
and Montreal. After college he had his own
business for a year before accepting a position
with a firm specializing in custom homes and light
commercial. His experience includes all phases of
design through construction of aerospace, church,
school, bank, office, hospitality and retail
product types. The majority of his experience has
been residential of various types
and had worldwide experience with several high end architectural firms in Southern California. Career opportunities also led him to two nationally recognized home builders based in New Jersey. Lindquist is a great fit for Rob because it matches his own philosophy of service and quality.

Dobrowski Project
Director
David
began his career in 1970 with a general contractor
and then in 1985 began utilizing that experience
in an architectural office. His
appreciation of the relationship between
architecture and construction brings a
commitment to constructible detailing and integrated documents. His 38 years of experience has allowed the opportunity to act as Project Director, Project Manager, Facilities Design & Management and cost estimator. David has extensive experience in obtaining entitlements and working with permitting agencies.
Marty
Duggan Project Manager
Marty has over 20 of years
experience in the profession, including 8 years as
a construction manager for Toys R Us. He was
raised in a contractor’s home and worked in
construction while earning his undergraduate
degree in Architecture from the University of
Michigan in 1988. He completed his Graduate
Degree in Architecture from Lawrence Technological
University in 1994. Marty’s experience is
diverse with a significant amount in the
retail sector in both shell and TI architect roles
for clients such as: Borders, Lay-Z-Boy, Bed
Bath and Beyond, Best Buy, Staples, Ross Dress For
Less, Cost Plus World Market, Stein Mart,
Pet Smart, and Starbucks. He is familiar with the
challenges of the development process and has an appreciation of the roles of the various project team members. Marty knows how to navigate projects through the fits and starts. He is vigilant in coordinating with consultants while managing changing design criteria and maintaining budgetary parameters.
Jesse
Connors Project
Manager
Jesse’s
career in architecture spans back 17 years. He has
developed and coordinated architectural drawings
in the commercial, educational, medical and
aerospace sectors. Jesse has spent the last three years creating design and construction documents for large multi-use developments for the live, work and play environment; this type of project includes multi-family condominium towers with first floor designated as retail and neighboring structures consisting of office buildings.
Kelly Hopper
Office Manager
Kelly has been an invaluable team member at Lindquist Architects since 1997. She assists the rest of the staff with their daily responsibilities and regularly takes on special projects. She fields many client questions, handles much of Dave’s scheduling and keeps the office running smoothly.
LA will always take a pro-active, real
world approach to each task and our depth continues to provide a solid platform for
exploring, defining and achieving each development’s maximum potential.
